Crispy from outside and flavourful from inside these vadas/wadas are made from simple spices .Try out this gluten and grain free wadas which are fasting-friendly and incredibly delicious.
Makes 4-6 Wadas Ingredients 1 cup Buckwheat Flour 1 big boiled potato 1 chopped green chili 1-½ teaspoons of salt 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds ½ cup chopped cilantro 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) ½ teaspoon ginger paste Oil for frying
Process: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl except oil and flour. Make a medium pouring consistency batter from buckwheat flour so that the wadas get coated nicely. Heat the Oil on high temperature and once hot, reduce the heat to medium. Put 4 wadas in a wok and cook it until golden brown in colour. Serve hot with chutney.
