Instant chilli pickle

Mummy’s instant pickle recipe. She used to marinate it with salt, I decided to do something quick and this worked out yummy too!

Serves 2
6-7 big thick slit and deseeded  green chillies (these chillies I used were less spicy)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 tablespoon oil
1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds (optional)

Process: Heat oil, add the fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds and chilies. Add the other spices, lemon juice and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Serve it right away or refrigerate and serve it chilled
