How to make Beetroot Cabbage Chapati

Beetroot known to be low in fat, full of vitamins and packed with all antioxidants is a healthy root vegetable which gives this attractive look to your flat bread. Add this delicious, low calorie flat bread in your diet plan!

Makes 8 chapatis
Ingredients for dough:
2 cups of wheat flour
1 medium size boiled, peeled and grated beetroot
½ cup grated cabbage
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
¼ cup finely chopped cilantro
2 teaspoons Himalayan rock salt
2 tablespoons oil/olive oil
For cooking chapatti:
flour for dusting
oil for brushing

Process: Mix all the ingredients for the dough together. Gradually add
warm water and knead into a soft dough.
Divide the dough in equal parts. Take one part, roll into a ball and press it
with your palms. Dust some flour on it. Using a rolling pin make a circular
shape chapatti around 8 inches in diameter.
Grease some oil on a pan (high heat), place the paratha on it. Grease
some oil on top part and after 30 seconds, flip it by reducing the heat to
medium low. Cook the other side for 15-20 seconds. Again flip it and
increase the heat on high for 10 seconds. Brush some oil on top and
remove it right away.
Repeat for the remaining balls. Serve hot.
