I am a big fan of Slurpy noodles, something which can give you a soupy feeling at the same time choosing the right noodles can bring joy to the entire experience. I chose some curvy noodles which can be boiled and become soft at the same time be stretchy.
Two packets of thick long wheat noodles or any noodles which you prefer (Boil them)
1 teaspoon thick black soya sauce
2 teaspoon of tomato ketchup
1 teaspoon chilli sauce
1 green chilli de seeded
1 tablespoon corn starch or tapioca starch
4 cups of water
¼ cup thinly sliced cabbage
¼ cup Julienne size carrots
2 tablespoon green beans *optional
2 teaspoon chopped ginger
1 cup thinly sliced celery *optional
½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
Process: Heat oil in a pan, sauté the chilli and ginger for 1 minute on medium heat. Add the vegetable and stir fry on high heat for 1 minute. Reduce the heat and add the soya sauce, ketchup, chilli sauce, vinegar, mix them well and then add corn starch, sugar and salt dissolved in 4 cups of water. Add the boiled noodles and bring it to a boil.
It will thick and soupy enough to slurp.
